Ledger designed a make up of Joker his self.He used the white clone make up and cosmatics from drugstore.His design was approved ,the make up team was responsible for replicating the look each day for filming.Because ledger want to give his best.

His look was different from the other traditional joker.. In fact he made his makeup to show something special and solid..So he made it by own.
