1.Navi's language
The Na’vi language was created entirely from scratch by linguist Dr. PaulR. Frommer. James Cameron hired him to construct a language that the actors could pronounce easily, but did not resemble any single human language. Frommer created about 1000 words.

2.Based on..
The avatar faces were based on Disney's pocohontas. James Cameron admitted in an interview that he got the idea for “Avatar” after watching Disney’s 1995 animated film Pocahontas.

3.Reason for late..
James Cameron originally attempted to get this film made in 1999 as his immediate follow-up to Titanic(1997). However, at the time, the special effects he wanted for the movie ran the proposed budget up to $400 million. No studio would fund the film, and it was subsequently shelved for almost ten years.

4.Navi's body
In the movie, Na'vi have four fingers and no eyebrows, while Avatars have eyebrows and five fingers. It was created with 40 percent live action and 60 percent CGI, utilizing motion capture technology. To prepare actors for the film, James Cameron took them to Hawaii and had them hunt, fish, hike, build campfires and generally live like tribes people.

5.Training in Hawaii

The cast had to prepare for the jungle on land Pandora in Hawaiian forests and jungles while living a very tribal day life. However, they were all sleeping in 5 star luxury hotel at night. It is also interesting that Avatarmovie has more computer graphic and special effects than it has live action – only 40% of live filming compared to 60% of computer generated elements.

6.First movie..
Avatar (2009) is the first movie to be shot with a 3D camera, released in 3D and in IMAX 3D to be nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award. Avatar (2009) is also the first completely digitally shot movie to win the Oscar for Best Cinematography.
