Largest ship

The original Titanic was the world’s largest passenger ship when it entered service, measuring 269 metres (882 feet) in length, and the largest man-made moving object on Earth. The largest passenger vessel is now the MS Allure of the Seas, at 362 metres.

Length of film

The movie features 2 hours and 40 minutes of scenes set in 1912. This is the exact amount of time the Titanic Took to sink.It is coincidence or any other no one knows. The film also has 37 seconds between the iceberg warning and the actual collision, which is the same amount of time that transpired in real life.

Real artist

James Cameron is the one who actually drew the sketch of Rose. He is also the artist of all Jack's other drawings.

High budget

It was the most expensive movie in 20 th century movie. $200 million may not seem like a completely ridiculous budget now, with several films such as Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Pirates of the Caribbean both coming in at over $250 million, but it was a record-breaking budget at the time. (That’s $200 million in ’97 dollars, too – not increased for inflation.)The budget went to re-creating many parts of The Titanic, to big shots that had to be done in a single take (and that destroyed sets), to the many extras and to actually visiting the wreck of the Titanic itself. The film went massively over budget during filming, but the costs eventually paid off. The budget ended up being used as part of the marketing – the amount of money spent was promoted to drum up interest, and the film more than recouped the huge expense.

Christian bale..!!

Christian Bale(Batman) openly campaigned for the role of Jack Dawson but James Cameron refused as he did not want two British actors playing the role of two Americans.

Actress
Gloria Stuart, the actress who played the elderly Rose Dawson, was the only person who worked on the production of the film who was actually living in 1912, the year when The Titanic Sank. She even received an Oscar nomination for her role, which, at age 87, made her the oldest actor to receive a nomination. In September 2010, Stuart passed away at the exceptional age of 100.
